Reflective aluminum Recreation and Park Sign
Our Custom and MUTCD compliant Park Signs and Recreation Signs MUTCD compliant and are made using .080” 5052-H38 ALUMINUM;
the thickness, alloy and hardness specified by the FHWA and most DOT and Highway Departments for all but very large signs.
Standard symbols for use by the National Park Service NPS, U.S. Forest Service USFS, State Parks, County Parks and private parks, campgrounds and recreational areas.
Like all ARA Signs, our Park and Recreation Signsare available in
3 different GRADES of 3M™ reflective sheetings
- Engineer Grade / Commercial Grade: “Good”, lowest reflectivity, least durable, lowest cost, but rarely approved for use on public roads, but often approved for private parks and campgrounds.
- High Intensity: “Better”, about 5 times more reflective than EG, far more durable (10 year 3M™ warranty), modestly priced, but also not approved by many state DOT for road work
- Diamond Grade Fluorescent Orange: “Best”, about 10 times more reflective than EG, most durable (12 year 3M™ warranty), highest cost, required by most state DOT for construction on public roads

- standard traffic sizes, with black legend diamond and other shapes for use on Public for use on Public Roads, Streets and Highways
- other sizes for use on Private Campgrounds, Parks, Fishing Piers etc Only and for Custom Signs
